Just scared my cat, anyone know about airpods?

Just scared my poor cat witless.

Was on the phone and put in pods to do some gardening (first time I've used them outdoors when he was around) poor Mozart was sitting outside and as I came nearer, he got more and more scared. He's usually a mummy's boy, but he was so scared of me, huge eyes and bushy tail and ran to the door to get in and away from me.

I quickly removed the pod and turned off the Bluetooth and lo and behold he looked at me suspiciously and came for a cuddle.

WTAF any similar experiences?

Well, you need to do an experiment.
Bluetooth on, airpods running in pocket.
Bluetooth off, airpods in ears.
Do either of the above scare that magnificent beast?

What is his reaction when you wear the airpods in the house?

You are right @DancesWithDaffodils didn't have the heart to experiment today having scared him so much. No reaction indoors usually.
