Getting the big eyes from both of the Toddler girls, while eating steak and chips. Give both a little bit, do they eat it?!! They usually love steak. ConfusedConfused

They probably feel the same way when you don't eat the mouse they just brought you Grin

Giantrooster · 26/03/2021 18:49

I take it as a quality test, if my lovely boys (one especially) won't eat it, I'm vary (with prawn usually).

So you've probably just eaten a sub-standard steak. Your poor cats Grin.

@littlewhitestar fortunately they aren't hunters. They couldn't catch a cold.

Wary even Grin

Well it was Ribeye rather than rump, so maybe they are just a bit picky about their cut.

It’s not their usual cut and rib eyes usually quite well done, their obviously medium to well done cats!.

Dh had haddock in a restaurant once & they wrapped the leftovers for the cat who flicked it all over the kitchen to punish us for going out to eat. Next morning I was 😲.

Toddlerteaplease · 26/03/2021 19:05

I suspect they wanted the chips. Triple cooked beef dripping from Lidl. ( to die for) Sorry girls, I love you, but not enough to share them!

A starved and neglected Cheddar!

Unlike my cat who would actually pinch food directly off my plate if I let her

I can’t have a jacket potato in piece as she tries to pinch the cheese

Even if I have a McDonald’s, she tries to nibble the chips

I have to guard my plate whilst I’m eating.

She’s worse than the dogs!

Cheddar does try and steal food occasionally. She loves pasta. We used to have a cat that would steal from
Plates . She one stole a whole pie from my sister.
