Kloppy's got a new mate, a little black boy from up the road. They scamper around in the field behind my house, chase each other and have fun. This afternoon I heard the most awful screeching and looked out of my kitchen window to see the poor black kitty being beaten up by a horrible feral tomcat Shock Kloppy heard this, shot outside, tore across the field and chased the bully away. He then escorted his mate back to safety!

I have literally never seen a cat do this, I was so proud of him 😻

But did it happen if there are no pictures of Kloppy?

You sure they’re just friends, OP?

So sweet

Does the little black cat have a home? Kloppy is lovely 😻

purrswhileheeats · 17/03/2021 14:55

Definitely a bromance!

Little black cat lives six doors away, owned by a very quiet single mother and her daughter who's about 8yo. I noticed the little girl hanging around my house during the first lockdown, staring wistfully at my cats so I was delighted when LBC appeared a few months ago. Poor kid seemed lonely (she doesn't mix with the other children in the close) so at least she has a playmate now.

That’s really sweet. My cat was my first friend when I moved countries. They have a way of finding us, and mini panthers are sweet.

purrswhileheeats · 17/03/2021 16:35

Yes it's funny isn't it, doesn't matter what country you're in.

I rescued Kloppy just over a year ago (charity shop kitty if anyone remembers) and he's just amazing. Constantly causes trouble Hmm but so cute and loving I can forgive him for anything Grin
