Giving up with the fussy beggars!

I have tried them with
Applaws
Blink
Animonda
Lily’s Kitchen
Core

And probably about another 5 grain free top quantity wet cat foods and the fussy beggars will eat them for a few days then refuse to eat them. They will eat dry food, they are currently on Lily’s Kitchen Fat Cat Slim as one is a definite chubster, female tortie, and one ginger boy is getting that way, black boy is the only slim one.

Am thinking of just saving money and buying them tins of fish like tuna and salmon which they love and scoff and cost less than blooming pouches that get left.

They totally refuse to eat meaty pouches like chicken and beef Sad

I don’t really want them on dry food all the time as my old boy was and he had kidney problems, ginger and tortie are 2 and black boy is one and I’m trying to convince DH that four is the magic number Grin

Cats need certain things in their diet e.g. taurine that they can't get from just fish. In addition, most tuna has comparatively high levels of mercury and there have been cases of cats fed almost entirely on tuna getting mercury poisoning. Raw meat is a good source, especially liver & hears, and dark meat in general.

I feel like giving up everyday. I don't have the answer, but I keep on tryingGrin

Don’t use Felix as good as it looks, you’ll never get them off it.

Raw food diet?. It can’t be more than what your spending now.

Wouldn’t feed them just on tuna would still feed them dry mainly with fish now and again as a treat.

Have thought about raw don’t know how I would store it though as don’t have space for a freezer, would they even eat it?

Miaowing Heads - that’s what’s dry food they are eating just now and what wet food they are refusing to eat just now Confused
