Vets for my girl this afternoon

5yo girl, normally a lazy so and so who bullies her brother for food... a couple of days ago I thought that her eye looked a bit puffy but no discharge so I thought I was seeing something that wasn’t there. Yesterday one eye was runny, but it was a clear discharge. I bathed it with cool boiled water. Today she’s off her food, hasn’t done her usual overnight poo in the litter tray, hasn’t moved off the sofa all day. Eye isn’t discharging now. But... She just isn’t herself.
What could it be?! She hasn’t been anywhere for accidents or injuries, she’s very much a home girl. I’m baffled and worried.

Abscess somewhere I should think.

Punctured eye ball. My usually docile cat went for a visiting cat and that was the result.

She also had an abscess on her cheek. But so long haired I didn't see it till it burst.

Vet couldn’t find any injury, eye is fine. She did have a fever, but nothing to suggest why. She had a metacam injection and I have more to give her tomorrow. Review on Friday if she hasn’t picked up, or before if an abscess becomes apparent. So none the wiser really, but explains why she wasn’t herself this morning.

At least she's not in pain. Hope she's ok.

Hope she's feeling better soon, I'm glad her eye is ok
