What weird stuff does your cat do?

Started this thread after another one I'd started went off on a tangent and started talking about 'weird things our cats do'.

So, come on, I'd love to hear about our furbabies odd and endearing (or just plain strange) behaviours.

I'll start by mentioning that my cat occasionally walks to the corner of the room and just stands there staring intently at nothing at all. Bizarre!

My 2 sit at the window looking out & one of them moves her jaw like she's saying ' yeah yeah yeah yeah ' over & over. They are 5 months,I would love to let them out but we have an owl in the tree & I'm scared it will swoop down and get my girls

One used to like shagging a teddy bear. Another will start knocking over anything in his path when he gets hungry.

I keep scrolling past this post in my 'I'm on' and thinking "wtf?!" before realising what thread it's in.

My Persian Leo has the strangest habits..

My youngest brother is with us (homeschooling at the moment) and Leo will sit outside his bedroom door from 8am and wait for him to get up, when he goes home to his dads at the weekend Leo will sit by the bedroom door until you show him the empty room to prove he isn't there.

He will have his supper and wait at the bottom of the stairs for me to tell him he can go to bed (10pm precisely every night).

If I am not going upstairs at 10pm, he knows my husband is coming home from work and will go and sit in the kitchen and wait for his piece of cheese from him before he goes to bed.

He licks me when I come out of the shower, never at any other time.

He crawls into the duvet cover when i'm changing the bed and won't move.

He sits in the window every morning at 10am and waits for the postman to come and gets ratty if they don't come up the front path.

He will happily sleep in his carrier during the day, but when we have to take him to the groomers in it, he hates it. Won't even go near it.

He's a fickle thing, but we adore him!

Its amazing how much they pick up about your life isn’t it? I remember our departed boy looking horrified I was going to work one morning when he saw my uniform. He’d just got comfy and he knew he’d be going downstairs to the utility.
