Thanks everyone. Unfortunately he's not my cat he's been coming to visit most days though. He's very tame so I do think he's got a home. He's only quite small so not sure if he's still a kitten or if he's just a small cat. He's so bloody gorgeous I just wondered if maybe he was a pedigree but seems like he's not.

Have you tried to put a paper collar on him to see where he lives?

He looks like he has quite a tail too. Lovely cat. Make him a little paper collar with a message for the owner so you can let them know where he is when he visits.

My cat has friends! He has three cat mates that visit him.

He hates people, OTOH.

My cats have a friend, a ginger girl who likes to come in and sit in the sofa, she also likes to eat any food that's left out. She will follow my cats in thru the chipped cat flap or come in thru an open window.

My cat had two friends. A huge black cat taught him how to cat.

He came when called before the black cat taught him to wait until you could here the desperation in my voice.

My cat has a friend too. He come in, saunters to where we keep the catnip, gives us a swipe and we usher him outside with a pinch of catnip for him to roll in. If it's raining we sprinkle it on the floor in the utility room. He's a white cat and we don't want him to get too dirty.

The ears look like Mainecoon but they’re usually long haired, so maybe a cross?

Col had a friend ish. Well they play fight a lot but he does let him do this

He's definitely got some Maine Coon looking bits. Tufty ears, a square muzzle and flufty feet. Here's mine for comparison (not a transparent excuse to post pictures of my baby at all!)

While the experts are here, can i piggyback off this post and ask for breed opinions on my chunk please.
