Said my friend. Who then told me that he didn't sleep well, for worrying about one of his cats was that was missing. (She was found safe and sound accidentally shut in the garage this morning)
Me thinks he doth protest to much!

I’d also worry if one of mine was missing..

He pretends not to be, but he's besotted by them. Grin

I had a visiting friend who said he wasn't really a fan of cats. Walked into my living room to find him crouched on the floor cooing 'are you cosy little cat' to my full grown cantankerous moggy. Feline mind control 😉

They each sent me a birthday card. That is not the action of an ambivalent cat slave!

It reminds me of the time my husband said he didn't want another rescue cat. By the evening of the first day of new cat's arrival he'd cooked the new cat a chicken breast in case the cat was peckish. This is also the man who will sit on another chair so as not to disturb the cat when the cat is fast asleep on husband's side of the sofa.
