We had our boy put down 2 years ago today but today went to visit a potential rescue cat. I have been approved and she comes at the weekend. 😻😻😻

I can’t bloody wait to have a cat on my lap again.

Our boy left a big cat shaped hole in our lives, I can’t wait to fill it again. I’m BEYOND excited.

Will she remain a Cookie? Am sure it makes no difference, cats only respond when it suits, anyway.

I was just under 2 years without cat,after my previous 2 died in quick succession. The longest I'd been in my adult life without a pet! I rehomed 2 kittens just before Covid, and it was really the luckiest timing.

Gorgeous girlie. And so sorry you lost your last one so young - that happened to me a few years ago, it’s devastating. I have three rescues. Attached is Purplecat number 3 sitting on a Christmas present and trying to claim it as hers!

I thought she’d hide for days, until she got used to us but nope, had a good old roam around the house then made herself comfy wherever she fancies!

She’s partial to DD3 (age 14) but loves me too as she lies half on me/half next to me purring. 😻😻
