Cat just pissed on my sheepskin rug

Can anyone shed any light on why my cat - previously good behaviour - has walked into my room, meowed, squatted and done the biggest wee on my sheepskin rug?

Other than being a bit grumpy with me this morning for not giving him a treat straightaway, I don’t know why he would have done this.

Sounds like he was in pain if he meowed and that he’d been holding it in a while.

I don’t suppose you could ring the vets?.

Sounds like a call for help. Not to be ignored. They would never willingly pee on such a lovely snuggly space.

One of my cats did something similar when he had a urinary tract infection. I would get him to a vet because they can go downhill very quickly.
