He’s been in an ‘altercation’ again. He’s torn his extra eyelid (who even knew that was a thing???) poor boys feeling very sorry for himself . As will I when I attempt to put his eye drops in.... may get dh to do it while I do the holding. I feel he may be ‘better’ at it ....

@Kenworthington good luck tomorrow. My bet is on anterior uveitis. Colin might need some anti inflammatory but should make a full recovery.
If you are struggling with eye drops always apply them coming from behind, over the top of the head rather than being eyeball to eyeball face on.

Kenworthington · 02/11/2020 19:17

Thanks @BadEyeBri I’ll be sure to come back and let you know. They are going to test the pressure in his eye apparently

Poor Colin, I hope he's feeling better soon

YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/11/2020 10:15

Oh dear, all the best Colin!

Toddlerteaplease · 03/11/2020 12:26

Did they not check the pressure when he first injured it? I presumed it was done routinely with eye injuries. Although Snorg went to a vet hospital and the vet on duty had a interest in eyes.

Kenworthington · 03/11/2020 13:25

Ok so we went to the vet. She tested the pressure in both eyes and they were fine. In short, she doesn’t know and has never seen anything like it before.she’s taken a photo to show to the ophthalmologist who’s only in part time and get back to me. So no news really!

So we’re saying Colin will have a new disorder named after him?.

QueenPaws · 03/11/2020 13:54

Sounds like something my cat would do. He's fond of becoming unwell/injured for no apparent reason with things that mystify the vets

Toddlerteaplease · 03/11/2020 13:54

That's exactly what Snorg does. Never gets anything simple!
