(Precious first cats)
When Fatty and Snorg went to the cattery for the first time. I wrote two pages of instructions on how to tell them apart and their likes and dislikes. BlushBlushBlush

I did when I went in to pick her up, the staff sang it to me.

Soft kitty warm kitty, little ball of fur....

Oh dear done all the above plus ...
All cats get the run of the boat. We bought a certain caravan specifically for the cats - had enough space so they could have their own area and a large enough hot water tank to heat enough bed space just for them.
Electric blanket and heating on if they show signs of being cold. Radio in when I go out so they aren’t lonely. We changed our working hours so they have only a few hours, three time a week alone.
When I’ve had to use a cattery, they go all hotel style with heated indoors plus their own outside area, toys, plates, blankets, special treats etc etc. A phone call everyday to see how they are ... cattery must think I’m mad. I even checked they had fire proof partitions and a sprinkler system in case of fire.
Caught myself peeling red grapes for one of them last night .....

The cattery I use has their own iPads in their rooms so they can watch CBeebies. It doubles as a webcam so I can check in on them —obsessively— while I’m away.

Mine post pictures on Facebook and message me with anything really cute. One of the reasons. Chose it is because one of the owners is a fireman. (He also makes amazing hobbit houses, trying to persuade them to do cat sized ones)

Today I bought two tilted feeding bowls and spent an inordinate amount of time choosing treats, food and cat litter for the tribe.
