I'm dead. It was nice knowing you all!

Your poor kitties. I shall very kindly take them off your hands, I have treats...

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/09/2020 15:50

You have only yourself to blame. Sorry.

Ski37 · 20/09/2020 16:26

Lack of planning there OP 😂
To help you out I find tuna in spring water is favoured over treats with my cat- imagine how I felt the day I was not only out of treats but had also lost the can opener!!!!
Good luck😂

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/09/2020 16:34

Even cheese?.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 16:35

Total failure on my part!! I might have some tuna in the cupboard. Cheddar is sitting in my knee squawking at me. I've not told her we've run out yet. Hoops I get them in before dark. Without treats I've got no hope!

I haven't got any cheese in the house! Or ham, chicken or turkey. Maybe some pasta would do. They love that.

Tinned sardines? A favourite of my old boy. Can you rattle another packet (cereal? Crisps?) that makes the right sound - although I don't fancy your chances if you get them in under false pretences Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 17:20

I noticed yesterday that cheddar is beginning to look a little rounded in the middle, so no treats will be good for her.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 20/09/2020 17:24

But will it be good for you?.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 17:40

Probably not!

Bargebill19 · 20/09/2020 17:58

It was nice knowing you 👋👋 bye!

No tuna or fruit? Or raw meat of any kind??

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 18:42

Crisis over. I found some lik e lix. I'd forgotten about them as they've gone off them. Snorg won't eat hers though but at least I've offered. Don't feel so guilt when she's giving me the big eyes!

Arghh. I've run out of treats.
OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 18:45

And I did offer some minted lamb gill steak but she didn't eat it.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 20/09/2020 18:47

Dh always used to save steak for ours and he never ate it. I think the offering is more important to them than what your offering sometimes.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 19:15

Yes. They'll occasionally eat steak, but live pasta and bread.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 20:01

The little sods are being absolute buggers about coming in. Get cheddar in and magic refused then cheddar is out again. Then the spilt up knowing I can't go after both of them.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/09/2020 20:14

You know what they say about herding cats.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 20:31

Arghh. Cheds is in and taken her self off to bed. Magic is deliberately evading capture.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 21/09/2020 08:08

What time did you get her in?.

Toddlerteaplease · 21/09/2020 11:37

About 8.45. She was deliberately playing up. Which I'm secretly quite pleased about because she never used to do anything naughty.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 21/09/2020 14:30

She’s acting like a cat!. I wonder what’s next...

Toddlerteaplease · 21/09/2020 19:05

I dread to think!

OP posts:
purrswhileheeats · 21/09/2020 20:39

I offered Dcat4 a piece of grilled pork earlier. It was obviously the wrong temperature as he batted it about for a while, looked confused and wandered off in disgust Confused

Toddlerteaplease · 21/09/2020 21:19

I have realised that I was offering them tit bits that are too hot. They usually eat them if they are cold.

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 21/09/2020 21:20

Ps. I stoped at pets at home and stocked up!
