Baldy flap of skin

My cat is 10 years old, and over the last 4 years developed the traditional dangly belly sported by many male cats (especially those that steal food from the neighbours house). Since the winter he's taken to excessive cleaning of his tummy and back legs, as can be seen in the photo. He's otherwise healthy (eating well as usual, no excessive drinking water) and active, no change in behaviour. His fat tummy is now more like a fat flap of skin , there's definitely no lump. Is this normal? Anyone else seen this kind of thing?

Overgrooming can be caused by stress, try some Zyklene or pet remedy to calm him down.

Thank you, that would actually make sense. He's physically fit but there has been a few noisy fights we've heard at nighttime. Will give that a try Smile
