Worming and Flea Treatments (7 Month old indoor kitten)

Hi All,

Prince Leo is now 7 months old and we have flead and wormed him monthly (on the advice of the person we got him from).

He is an indoor / house cat and won't go outside. Do we need to continue to flea and worm him monthly or can we drop it to 3/6/12 monthly after a certain time?

I've emailed the vets (they are still only taking emergencies so can't take him in) and I thought who better to ask that a group of people who have really good advice :)

Any advice would be much appreciated :)

I use a flea treatment monthly (stronghold plus - also treats for some worms) and give a wormer every 6 months (profender). I have outdoor cats. I get the products from the vet

what are you using as wormer is often 3 monthly rather than monthly?

@dementedpixie Dronspot monthly. We were told to flea and worm every month for the first 6 months. He's 7 months old now.

We might just worm him 3 monthly and flea every month just to be on the safe side :)
