Where is your cats favourite place to sleep?

My cat loves to sleep under my duvet...whilst I’m in bed either watching TV or reading a book.

I have to have my legs up, like the capital letter A without the middle bar, and she gets under the duvet and lays between my legs.

She loves it and will lay there for hours if you let her

Cheddar sleeps in the corner of my sofa, on my bed or on my other pillow at night. Snorg sleeps in anyone of her three beds.

Her Teepee is her favourite.

Currently, the lid to a puzzle I’m doing. Never had such a quiet sleep! Normally on bed, under the duvet when she’s cold.

The cat basket if it’s really cold and the slave is out and forgot to light the fire or is at home but it needs ignoring. The chair in front of the fire when needing to keep an eye on things and it has the added bonus of making the slave light the fire if there is the cats curl up into a tight ball - because it’s cold don’t you know and the slave is slow to attend to the king and queen.
If it’s cat temperature and sunny then the middle of the duvet in full sunshine with the curtain closed enough so it isn’t directly in ones eyes when they wake up.
At night - well the slave should switch in the electric blanket and arrange the blanket just to make a cat shaped tunnel.....
During the night —- well obviously it has to be on top of the slaves head if cold or on a the slaves hip if it’s warm enough.
On occasion if IF it’s warm enough, the back deck in full sunshine and zero breeze will do - but only if the fleecy padded doughnut cat bed has been freshly laundered and placed just so....

Well Bargebill19, that all sounds perfectly reasonable and not at all demanding

My big boy currently enjoys sleeping n a pink plastic lid that is way too small to fit him in!

His marshmallow bed. Or the back of a big armchair, or my office chair

Phoebe moves around the beds during the day, depending on where the sun is shin ing in. Toto has a favourite orange blanket on the sofa. Both cats share the carrier which is repurposed as a little sleeping hideaway when not in use.

Wherever he can cause the most inconvenience.

Recently, in my knicker drawer! We both got a fright when I reached in there.

On top of me!

She likes sleeping on my hip and he prefers my ribs. I spend quite a bit of time horizontal (just to please them)

Boycat - "his" end of the sofa, "my" end of the sofa overnight when I'm in bed, on my bed if I'm not in it, on the back of the sofa on top of the sheepskin, on the bottom of either wardrobe, in one of the igloos. Also falls asleep next to my on "his" end of the sofa wrapped round my arm.

Girlcat - on or in my bed if I'm not in it, anywhere on the back of the sofa, the medium sized igloo, bottom or mid shelf in the wardrobe, windowsill, conservatory floor, upstairs hall floor. Occasionally dozes half on me, half on the cushion on "my" end of the sofa as long as she's getting tummy or chin scritches.

Daytime-on my knee under a blanket. It was winter when this started, not sure how I will cope in the summer.

Night -radiator bed or loudly purring on my chest, especially at 4am.

On my plug-in heated throw. She dribbles with delight. Bit gross but it is washable!

On the mattress next to my pillow, shes very cuddly.

Ours changes regularly - he seems to pick 1-2 new spots every week or so!

At the moment it’s the bottom shelf of his scratching tower thingie (we are stunned as he usually shuns anything we’ve bought specifically for him) and the top of the heated airer whether it’s switched on or not. He also likes to sleep behind DH’s knees in bed.

The small bedroom ( storage , laundry baskets , towels on a shelving unit , spare bedding in Vacuum Bags ) and there's a spare dining room chair in the window alcove .
There's no door on this room.

Female cat likes to sleep on the chair (with cushion pad )
Male cat like the landing, or the widest triangular stair step

In the daytime , the dining room chairs .
Female cat likes to "help" DH WFH by sleeping next to him and wandering over to photobomb conference calls

My boy has regular new favourite places (known as his 'current NFP')
He rotates on a weekly basis, on average (unless there's a new Amazon box in the house, then it's who can get it quicker out of the 3!)

My bed, the spare bed, the door mat, her cardboard scratcher, on top of me, leaning on the computer keyboard, my end of the sofa or my work chair.

Basically, wherever it is sunny.
Bonus points for it being inconvenient to me.

On our bed - usually near DH’s head. She’s his baby so he encourages her!

Both occasionally on me. Usually when I'm lying on my front so I'm pinned down.

On a basket full of hats and gloves next to the boiler. Despite it not being big enough for both of them and despite them having a huge comfortable basket right next to it. We had to put a blanket over the hats as everything was covered in hair. It’s very warm there, the pipe is always hot.

Like here.

On DP’s laptop keyboard, even though she knows she’s not allowed to and always gets moved. Some of the keys are sticky now, and she has occasionally tweeted streams of rubbish. (She contributed a nonsense post to a Teams chat on mine the other day while I nipped to the loo too.)

Otherwise on our bed, on the spare bed, on “my” seat (heated throw), on “her” seat, or on the kitchen table. She has a bed she sleeps in at night, in the kitchen, but otherwise anything goes - she’s currently lying at the back of the garden in the very last bit of sun.
