The Naming of Cats

We have two new beautiful little kittens. A tortie and a pitch black little boy.

The children have settled on the name Cookie for the tortie. Partly because we've eaten our way through a lot of chocolate-chip cookies in lockdown, and she has all the right colours.

But I'm out of ideas for names for the little boy that could go with Cookie, and DH isn't helping with his 'jokey' suggestions.

Any ideas?

Oh, I do like Cole.

You could go ironic and call him Cream.

@chocciechocface does your furry lord and master have a name (to ignore) yet?!

Hi there - lovely suggestions everyone. Massive debates all weekend with DH vetoing everything.

But our dear little kitten has finally been named Pixel - because he has about five white hairs on his tummy.

So it's Cookie and Pixel

DH chose Pixel. And once the rest of us had bought into it he then predictably became uncertain, but we overruled him.

I’ve seen people on here say they had agonised over naming their cat more than naming their children.
