Kittens ate 1/4 of a tub of lurpack!

I’m not sure what to do or if this is serious. My dd (12) left a new open tub of lurpack light on the kitchen counter after making herself toast. By the time I noticed it I found that there were lots of little tongue marks in it and about 1/4 of it has been consumed.

Our kittens just over 4 months old. I’m envisaging sickness/runny poo for Christmas Day 😬. Any advice?

God yes. Mine got at some milk as kittens. Now if we leave the kitchen with a not quite finished bowl of cereal on the table we will often come back in to the cat on the table lapping up the milk from the bowl (he knows it's not allowed so bolts as soon as we come back in).

Don't let them get a taste for Marmite.

Mine has just spent the last two hours attacking the automatic cat feeder I'm trialling ahead of tomorrow. I've had to sellotape it into the delivery box and wedge it under a chair to stop her taking the lid off the bloody thing!

Vet nurse here, could get acute pancreatitis from that amount of fat!! Which is extremely painful and serious. Watch for vomiting or abdominal tenderness and call the after hours vet sooner rather than later if either of those symptoms pop up!!

I was thinking fat gave them pancreatitis, I asked about giving departed boy a ham hock bone once and was told not to.

Naughty little fatties! Caught my extremely fussy eater cat polishing off the leftover vanilla liqueur cream from my dessert bowl last night. No wonder she slept like the dead last night!

In the 1970’s my dh would take her parents dog for a walk, slip it half a cider & enjoy some alone time with her partner. Gp used to comment it must have been a really good walk you gave him, he’s shattered.

Make DD do any clearing up required.
