Accidentally gave cat double dose of loxicom

Just that really. He is supposed to Have double antibiotics and only one dise of the loxicom after multiple tooth extraction. Does anyone know if this is harmful to him?

Sorry, that might be too brief. I gave him ABs and loxicom this morning and accidentally gave him another loxicom dose this evening instead of the antibiotics mistake.

It was a full second dose. Vet is closed, I'll try emergency line. Cat seems fine.

You should be able to Google the dose range for loxicom for cats (or find the full data sheet). Calculate the max dose for your cat and see if you have exceeded it - the prescribed dose isn't necessarily the max safe dose.

Thanks all for your comments. Sorry I didn't come back last night. I phoned the emergency vet and they said it was probably fine unless he showed any signs of vomiting or diarrhoea. He's been absolutely fine so I'm not worried. I'm not to give him another dose until this evening and then he'll be on evening meds rather than the morning.
