What’s wrong with my cat’s bottom lip ? (He is going to the vet on Monday, couldn’t get an app before !)

His bottom lip is swollen, he looks like he has a poot ! He is acting normal, eating normally but I’m just concerned about his lip ! He started being like that this morning !

My cat had this a couple of years ago and the flesh darkened to dark pink -the ex asked why is the cat wearing lipstick?! Vet thought it was an allergic reaction to something. Maybe a flea bite? She was fine afterwards and it hasn’t happened since

Might be an infected wound. Surprised vet wouldn't fit him in. If he becomes subsuded, goes off his food, insist on an emergency.
