Do you ever have a smidge of regret?

Dcat has been here 3 weeks this week. She’s gone from kind and loving to an absolute beast. We play with her for a good 2-3 hours a day when she’s awake. We had da bird, scratching posts, mice etc yet she runs around constantly, biting our feet, and just being extremely hyper. Especially in the evening/before bed. I feel like I’m constantly playing with her.

She’s lovely and I love her but I think I rushed into it without really thinking about it.

She’s not going anywhere but I want to know I’m not alone 😩

It’s the running from room to room climbing and jumping on everything and anything at mega speeds while biting whatever gets in the way that’s driving me insane. She can’t seem to relax 😩🙈

Our rescue cat went through a period of being vile, I cried because DD loves him but he'd act so strangely and a bit hostile and would drive me barmy. Few weeks later, nothing changed in the environment or to him but he mellowed out and was lovely, cuddly and playful and has been ever since. I did regret getting him! But not any more, he's a valued member of the family
