What toys do your kittens love the most?

We have a fluffy thing on a stick and some balls with bells in which he likes but it doesn’t seem much to keep him entertained. I bought some soft things that have catnip in but he doesn’t go near them.

I don’t think catnip works on kittens.

Ours loved ping pong balls.

A ball of tinfoil. Seriously. I’ve spent a small fortune on toys for her, but her utter favourite is a ball of tinfoil. Small ones to bat around, bigs ones to chase. She’ll even play fetch with them.

Oh that sparks a memory! Tiny balls of sweet wrapper foil were very popular.

Da bird, and she brings the feather boa on a stick upstairs every night before she goes to sleep

The plastic toy holders in kinder eggs tied on a string. All of them love it.

When one of mine was a kitten, she loved dove deodorant lids and I have spent hours fetching them from under the sofas for her.

I've noticed with mine, they prefer things that make shuffling/bouncing noises so they're not too fussed about soft toys. I had the feathers on a stick, and they only chase it if I'm scraping it along the floor.

Great thread! I'm going to try the foil ball. Mine likes things on a string at the moment - a dangly feather bird thing and a string of pompoms. She does like a catnip mouse we have but instead of chasing it she hugs it!

A crinkle tunnel and a 3 tiered ball spinner. Also likes shoe laces and beach sandals .

Mia loves feathery things on a string. She also loves her small pillow filled with dried St. John‘s Wort which she prefers to catnip.

Ours has a similar crazed look but I can never get her still enough to get a good photo.

Haribo also likes fish and mice on You Tube.

Socks found a peg today and appeared with it proudly held in her mouth. She then played with it for about an hour.
She’s also really into a circular plastic toy with balls in it and holes for her to put her paw in and bat them around.

Mine absolutely loved tunnels. I got a large one with four limbs and a hole and the centre. She still loved sunning around in it. If we poke the sides she darts from one tunnel to the other.
