I'm so worried about my cat :-( He's lost his appetite and has occasionally been making this terrible sound like he's trying to cough or something's stuck :-( The vet is coming but it will be about half an hour or so.

He's otherwise responsive and wandering around and stuff. He's just more lethargic than usual.

Hope the vets there now and having a good check of fluffy man!

How did u get on with the vet

FloatingObject · 01/09/2019 22:40

Sorry for the delay guys! So relieved. The vet couldn't find any obstruction or breathing problems however he did find a higher temperature than normal.

He gave him an antibiotics injection and gave me antibiotic pills and anti inflammatories and said to see how he gets on with that. He is already much better! Actually eating, and a little more lively.

Aww glad he's feeling better :)

FloatingObject · 02/09/2019 08:02

Urgh. He's definitely perkier but still doesn't want food. :-(

My one just had this.
Would not eat and dry heaving.
Was so worried.
X rays after all other tests showed wind in the large bowel and sore throat through heaving.
Given ant acid and something for his throat.I take it you are checking he is weeping and pooing.
