He had been missing for 2 days. He has been diagnosed with a terminal heart condition recently and vet said he wouldn’t have long left.
She had offered to PTS as his breathing was laboured but he responded well to diuretics and was purring/running/jumping as usual so we brought him home to have lots of cuddles with the kids.
Vet did say there was a chance he would have a heart attack and die and it seems like that’s happened. Neighbour found him in her garden today.
I am so sad. He was only 18 months old. It was a generic malformation of the heart which was only picked up a few weeks back.
He was the loveliest cuddliest kitty - so tolderant and snuggly, let my 6yo son carry him round on his shoulder like a parrot. Used to nuzzle and “suckle” at my clothes purring his head off like a little motorboat.
I am gonna miss him so much.
