My two lovely black cats have settled down nicely ............in fact they've settled so well they've dispensed with the Being on their best Behaviour malarky .

Female cat was chasing a fly and managed to knock over the phone and a plug in burner (not switched on) in her effort to kill it.

Male cat scaled a 3' outdoor plantar , dug a hole . planted his bum in it and had a pooh. Then buried it and jumped down.

They're treating me with disdain .

They have morphed from 'sweet little rescue cats' to 'proper ratbags'

Yup, seems about right.

I'm sure they treated the issues as if you are the one with a problem. Cats are champion gas-lighters!

The other night , one of them was clawing away at DD bedroom door (so I woke up and opened it ! They both slid into her room.......I'm one for a quiet life me )

Our boy likes to sprawl himself on the sofa , seeing just how much fur he can scatter .
Sofa=beige
Cats=black

They try to make me think I'm losing my marbles by swapping places ......... "Hang on, how come you're there when I saw you upstairs on my bed"
They are identical and play on it .

One of mine has developed a fetish for plastic bags in that he steals them away then destroys them. DH was sending back an expensive top and left it wrapped up on the kitchen table overnight, he found it in the playroom ripped to shreds. You cannot leave anything plastic about. They all blame the dog too!

I had to chase Fatty round the house several times and extract bits of slobbery plastic from her mouth after she decided to eat them.

He had a feather in his mouth in the garden (I think a magpie feather ) so pleased with himself like he'd felled an ostrich not just found a discarded feather .

We had to wrestle it off him, I didn't fancy a vet trip to have the pokey quill pulled out of his windpipe .

Maybe the poohing in the plant pot was a revenge for the theft of his feather ?

I’m now googling massive scratching posts as despite having a cat tree DCat3 aka Demon Kitten has decided to use my living room wallpaper. Why can’t he just use the dining room chairs like the other two???

sweetkitty clearly your cat doesn't like your current decor. Boycat is the same, tries to "redecorate" regularly!

I now remember years ago when I had 3 kittens why I didn’t have wallpaper!

Ah , yes I was reading the ThugCat thread when we were thinking about cats . TC taking on 4 cats was pretty scary TBH.

Our two go mob handed into the garden and face-off the NDN cats (there are three regular visitors , one is NDN , the other two are local)

I am really impressed how they assert themselves , he rushes at the intruder , she doubles in size with her fur-fluffing

They've been through the whole hiding-under-the-sofa thing to getting their bearings . Then Dexter had to go to the vet (emergency eye appointment) which set him back a bit .

But now , they've caught up and then some . They insist on going out first thing Yes,yes just leave the breakfast there for us , we'll be back. Unlock the door now CatSlave
