Mine have salmon oil on their food. It seems to work quite well. No doubt people on here will be along shortly, saying that RC is rubbish. But my two did really well on the Persian food.

Mine had this recently and I was told by the vet it could be due to missing or delayed flea treatment and I realised I had missed one treatment (overdue by a week) vet said it could take one flea to irritate their skin. I also changed her food to royal canin and the dry skin/dandruff has now gone.

If the above doesn’t work I was advised by the vet to put some oil on the cat but I’m sure there’s a trick to this/special oil so best have a chat with the vet

Sorry meant to say give oil to the cat not on the cat, although I think my vet advised this too!
