Do I have to treat the house? (Fleas)

I've had my kitten for a week and unfortunately she came with fleas Sad.

I took her to the vets straight away and she was treated with a spot on. The vet also sold me indorex to spray the house with. BUT I have severe OCD (actually diagnosed) when it comes to chemicals and aerosols, so I want to avoid as much as possible. The last time I had a cat with fleas I didn't have to spray and the house didn't become infested so I'm hoping I can get away with it this time?

Depends how big the infestation is. If it's small the fleas should go over time as they get killed by the treated cat. What spot on was it?

It's fairly small, I've found about 5 fleas on her (only 1 live). I've hopefully hoovered/steamed any eggs that may be laying around too. I don't know what the spot on was as the vet put it on her and then disposed of the pack

You might be ok I'm the same with spraying chemicals 😊 we had about a week before every flea died of completely from hoovering and treating the cats. Make sure you empty the Hoover outside as they can get back out hoovers.
