Can I give my kittens adult food?

I have 2 kittens 9 months and 9 weeks old. I've just used up my last pouches of kitten food and realised the new box I have in the cupboard is 1 year+. I won't be able to get any kitten food until about 11am tomorrow, will it be ok to give them the 1+ food for their morning meal ? I'm not so worried about the older kitten I've given her this kind on the odd occasion but worried with the younger one. I have dry kitten food which is always available but they are always starving for wet food in the morning should I just hold off until I can get the kitten stuff? Am I being precious? Grin

Thank you. I was just worried about the change upsetting the smaller ones stomach. Not too worried with the older one as I'm always changing her food, she is very fussy and will just all of a sudden stop eating the same food she's been eating for weeks previous. Although tbh the young one is a right gannet and always stealing out of her food bowl so his stomach should be able to cope with the change!
