That was traumatic two vet visits in one day. Daph is blooming 5.2kg and the vet said i have to stop the wet food because a) its too fattening and b) her teeth arent great for a just three year old. And i also have to put her put more, that wont be happening she just comes back in. Is the plain tuna like Encore alright to give do you reckon its less calories. She loves her wet food pesters me for it and i only give her half a sachet as it is.

Coming in behind is Doll at 4.7kg. She has perfect teeth. This is the one that lives off Dreamies and dry food she will only eat cat soup. She also buggars off night and day. The vet said shes intelligent i dont know where she got that from she screamed all the way there like i was strangling her she really hates going in the bag it was embarrassing on the bus, the driver let me on without paying I think he thought her leg was hanging off or something.

She wants to reweigh them in six months so we all need to go on a diet.

It could be worse: camdennewjournal.com/article/camdens-fattest-cat-owner-asks-neighbours-to-stop-feeding-cosmica

The blurb from our vets (prior to being sold) said wet food itself is good but the jelly or gravy on most wet foods is the problem both for teeth and weight.

I hear you, Each. Matt was 8.3kg when he went for his annual health check last week, which is over 18lbs. Blush
These vets ought to try living with a cat who demands four meals a day and howls the place down - or bites - if they’re a minute late.
