Cats just had their boosters...do they have to stay in for a bit?

I forgot to ask the vet. I can't remember whether they have to stay in!

Is this a kitten's first set of vaccinations or an annual booster? As far as I'm aware, you don't have to keep in a cat after a top-up booster (within the normal timeframe) but you should be cautious if it is their first set.

From this webpage:
"Strictly speaking, a kitten is not fully protected by the vaccinations until around 10 days after their second set of jabs. Therefore, it’s important that you are careful about where you allow your kitten to go until then. "

If you are in doubt, keep your cat in this evening and telephone the veterinary practice tomorrow morning.

No they don't have to stay in after boosters (former veterinary receptionist here).

Thankyou! Both curled up by my feet eyeing me suspiciously.....just in case I whisk them off to the vet again!
