Yes! In fact I said today that Matt was impersonating dead cats. I can be putting the washing out or something and there he is on the lawn, legs akimbo, furry tum displayed for worship. If you don’t happen to notice him, he meows for tummy rubs.

Nicey babies! My parents' fat cat Lady Jane does this too. We call it her "otter pose". She will lay on the floor that way. Occasionally Jayda (who is a bit plump but not super fat) will do this too. One time Gatsby (who is thin) did this. I think he was doing some kind of weird cat yoga.

I just want to squidge all these lovely babies! (Gently. I love kitties and would never want to hurt them!)

This is Jane doing her "otter pose" at my parents'. She has put on weight since then; my parents adopted her from a shelter and she was far too thin when they brought her home. (In case anyone is wondering, yes, my parents and we have the exact same couch. Only difference is we bought the three piece suite and they bought only the couch and the loveseat.)

Such funny little things aren't they! I do think my cat isn't that fat but the vet calls him obese have you ever tried putting a cat on a diet?!! It's miserable for everyone involved

I don't remember FatCat doing this but SoupDogg does it all the time from Otter to full on "rigor mortis" legs in the air. BlackCat1 lies in my arms on his back sometimes like I'm cradling a baby 😂

My cat bites your leg when he wants feeding. Just gently but it's when you're in the kitchen trying to get tea ready. It's very distracting (and funny) and certainly effective from his POV.

Ours loves to stretch out on his back. He does the feline equivalent of manspreading.
