We're getting new kittens soon and I'm keen to establish them on a good diet with plastic free packaging. Our existing ancient cat will only eat cheap tinned cat food in jelly (must be jelly, not gravy, must not be fish flavoured... 🙄). Our dogs eat a raw food diet which we comes in plastic free cardboard packaging.
What's the current best thinking on kitten/cat food these days? We used dried James Wellbeloved years ago before we had to switch to the cheap tinned food. Not keen on anything which comes in sachets because of the packaging issue. We won't be leaving food out all day for the kittens as the dogs will hoover it up so they will need training (as our previous cats were) to eat it all in one go but we appreciate that this isn't going to happen straight away. In fact we didn't have dogs when we last had kittens (almost 20 years ago!) so any top tips would be appreciated.
