7 Year Old Boy Suddenly Spraying Right in Front of Me!

Hello, please could anyone help? Our boy (neutered) has suddenly started spraying and he’s doing it right in front of me. I’ve just put two plastic carrier bags full of shopping on the table, he’s hopped up, did that arse wiggling thing and sprayed piss all over my bags of shopping, the dirty bastard!
He also did it to the bath panel while I was there.
I’m worried that if he is doing it in front of me, he is also doing it in places I won’t find until the whole house starts stinking of piss.
He has recently had a bit of stress in that he had to have some dental surgery.
Help!

Sounds like a uti, ours does it right in front of you if it’s a uti.

I think it’s his way of saying “oi food lady, sort this out” and I do because anything’s better than cleaning your stair carpet at 10pm.

he had cystitis from being a bit dehydrated having worn a plastic collar of shame from the vet for a week.
