Snort is prone to conjunctivitis, so the vet has prescribed lubricant drops. I'm not sure she has dry eye though. Will they help stop he from getting conjunctivitis?

@toddlerteaplease One of mine has conjunctivitis regularly, but also 0 tear production so her eyes don’t self-clean (so she gets ‘regular’ discharge as well as during infection). We use a couple of different ones at different times and Blinks ‘Intensive Tears’ help to keep the eyes clean as they dislodge the gunk to the surface (and cat sometimes manages to wipe it out herself).

The optom we saw said keeping them clean will somewhat aid prevention.

Do you have other drops for when she does get the infection? Isathal works wonders for my cat, her eyes clear up within a couple of days.

Thanks for that. I'll persevere with them. I usually use chloramphenicol drops when they are really bad. Sorts it out in a couple of days usually
