The vet says my cat is overweight: he's 6.5 kilos, which google tells me is towards the upper end of normal.
He usually has 3 pouches of food a day and a bowl of dry food; she says bring it down to 2 pouches and a small bowl of dry food.
Trouble is, he is pissed off! He keeps biting my shins (ouch) and jumping up and clawing me.
Will he get used to it? And is she right? I ask that because she weighed him last year at his check-up and he weighed exactly the same but when I asked if he was overweight/overfed she said he was just a big cat.
What's the best food to give him do you think? He has no standards at all and will eat any supermarket food you put down in front of him.
