Is it normal to miss your cats more than your kids?

I'm jesting of course...sort of... Wink

We've gone away and left the Scaredy Cats for the first time since we got them six months ago. They've gone back for a holiday with the CP woman who fostered them so I know they're in good hands but goodness me I miss them! I miss their stinky litter and the scratches and bites and snuggles and sniffing my ears and them trying to kill me by tripping me up on stairs. It's going to be a long 10 days...

I haven’t got kids but we miss the cat so much when we’re away. Dh is worse than me.

I miss mine when I’m away. I have indoor cctv so I can see them.

I don't have kids so can't compare it to that, but when I'm away for work I miss the cats much more than DP. When he goes away for work and it's just me and the cats it's heaven Grin

When we go on holiday a family member checks in on the cats twice a day. Even though we get daily updates and I know they're fine, I miss them like anything.

I don’t have kids so can’t comment on that but I definitely miss my cat whilst I’m on holiday........and that’s something I never thought I’d say as I love my holidays!!!

Cats don't answer back... Smile

When I was in labour with my so I was wishing I was at home with my cats 😂😂

Having our second holiday since having them in a few months, they will stay home with family member looking after them but they hate strange places and people and are going to hate it ... I will miss them dreadfully... only 3 full days but still will have guilt hits whilst away ... and will be scanning cctv to see if they are ok ( when they go outside )

I admitted on here a little while ago in a (semi) light hearted way that I'd missed the cat more than I'd missed DH while I'd been away.

Most people agreed that it was absolutely fine but there were a couple of righteously indignant people who thought I must have a terrible marriage and not love my husband very much Hmm

I think it's perfectly normal to miss the cats more than the kids. Kids are annoying Grin
