My cats has had years of constipation issues so youd think id know this. But whats the average length of your cats poop. Im not a cat poo troll i promise!
Usually when she gets constipation she goes to her tray fine. Then stops for a few days only producing tiny rock solid ones we like to describebas malteasers....
Anyway the last 2 days shes went and produced (for want of a better word) poops that are about 3 inches long. Now this is tiny compared to what she sometimes does and im not sure if shes on her way to being constipated.

I'm probably not being much help, but 3 inches sounds pretty big to me! Still, if it's unusual for her, then it couldn't hurt to keep an eye on her and check the litter-box for signs of anything going wrong.

I think it depends what sort of food they are on. On wet food my cat poos about 3 inches but on his regular dry science light diet, he poos a whopping 6 inches. (I'm not cat poo obsessed honest! He just has a favourite spot in my garden and I have to clear it daily in summer as it pongs and he doesn't even cover it up)

Shes on a mixture if dry and wet. She has mega colon so i sometimes think a lot stays in there before she eventually uses her litter tray!
