Just how much to eat per kg of cat?

Because an online calculator suggested 200 calories/day for our 4kg cat and the packets suggest 350!
She's put on a bit of weight since coming to us about 6 weeks ago but she's only 18 months and she had kittens about 3 months ago? Maybe a bit longer.

We give our 4kg cats about 220kcal/day, which keeps their weight even.

The packets have an ulterior motive...

Yes I can imagine they do.
Time for some calculations. Cat won't be happy!

One of ours whinges a lot for more all the bloody time, another a little, the other only at mealtimes. They're all the same size and weight! Bless.

I don't measure tbh. I give wet food 2or 3 times a day (1 pouch between the 2 cats each time) and leave dry food out

How do you work it out? I'm so confused based on what the pack says. Ava says between 25 - 50 g for the age they are now, that's quite a difference!

As i said I don't measure it and my cats aren't overweight. Mine have dry out all day with a small amount of wet food offered 2 or 3 times a day
