Anyone else's cats have personal space issues?

I,e, I'm not allowed any when cheddar is around. My face and neck must be available for kneading , slobbering and sneezing on and my lap must always be available for sitting on. Knees are for planting front paws on. My meals are all for her to eat. She's gorgeous but I'm all touched out!

Ern does this thing where he wants me to rub his face..when I do he will fold his arms around my hand, pull me in closer and hold me really tight. If I try to move he grips me harder.

He has started to touch our hands to tell us he wants loving and sometimes pulling our hands in

Yep my boy is exactly like this. Has to cuddle on the sofa, has to come to the toilet, has to come to bed... @Ski37 our morning routine is exactly how you describe and it won't end until he's been fed.

On a day off I often run down, give him his pouch and then leg it upstairs back to bed. When he's scoffed it (which is quick) and licked the bowl he then runs round panic meowing until he's found us and then gets back into bed for the lie in.

He won't go outside, has the odd wander round the lawn and straight back in again for fear of missing out on cuddle time.

Here is cuddle boy.

One of my latest additions has to hang round my shoulder and walk across my face (if I'm lying down) constantly. It's getting very annoying. Yesterday he humped my ear.

DH has had to fix the loo door since we got our cat - the DCs were already trained not to come in but the cat, forget it!

Mine's like this. Will sit on my lap when I'm on the toilet if I left her. And will open the toilet door to get to me! Boundaries are not her thing.

Luco likes to curl up next to my pillow as I'm going to bed and loudly lick his genitals. I assume he's telling me he's a bigger man than I am.

Oh, and he's learned if he paws at the air he gets a fuss Grin

Cheddar has been really bad with the night time walking recently. But I put an extra duvet on the bed last night and she barely disturbed me. So I wonder if she's been cold.
