Male cat spraying indoors and on me

So this is a bit a long story...

...I've recently found out that I am pregnant, going on 15 weeks and my cat Sylvester (Sly) obviously knows something is a miss. Around the time I found out about the pregnancy Sly became quite poorly, peeing very frequently, and then we noticed there was blood in his urine.

Sly is an outdoor-indoor cat and would spend probably about 6-10 hours a day out and about, but he didn't want to go out at all. He has a litter tray but doesn't normally use it opting to go out to do his business. Because he didn't go out three other cats moved in to the garden - a wee tabby who likes to cry ALOT, a stray cat and an unneutred male with a collar. They all started marking all around the outside of the house and meowing incessantly at the windows all night. This made Sly very anxious so he started marking inside.

Took Sly to the vet, who after carrying out tests and two course of antibiotics and anti inflammatories thinks the initial issue is stress induced.

So we've managed to calm him down a bit and reassure him that everything is ok. We have even limited what rooms he has access do at night which, surprisingly, has made him less anxious. He is a bit more upbeat now, going out more, and we have seen less of the other cats. The problem is he is still marking inside - he does have specific spots that he likes to mark, but I have noticed he has started marking me. He appears to be a lot better but is still marking.

I wondered if anybody has any tips? I have ordered one of the Feliway plug-ins which should be here in the days, but has anyone experienced this before? This there anything further I can do to help him?

(I'm just sitting at the computer desk typing this and just realised he's marked under the table...better get out the vinegar)

Has he been neutered?

ScarletYew · 22/01/2019 21:17

Yes, he has been neatured. Sorry, should have mentioned that.

Did you have any luck with this? I am in the same position and just so fed up with constant cleaning, I have tried feliway, different litter, extra litter tray and spraying with vinegar after thoroughly cleaning. I just can't see how it is going to stop.

Have you tried cystease?. Has he got an infection?.
