Why does she insist in styling my hair?

It’s always after it’s been washed. She all over it tonight digging her claws into my scalp and gelling it with her tongue. It’s not pleasant but if I push her away she just does it more!

She luuuuurves you! Your her human slave! Now feed her chicken before she gets those gorgeous paws stuck right in there and scalps you!!

Ha ha that phot is hilarious. The late Fatty used to love my hair after I'd been to the hairdressers. Must have been the smell

Vinorosso74 · 07/01/2019 23:01

It's a head massage! I love that second photo-tabby blur with a little pink tongue.

Shockers · 07/01/2019 23:07

My old cat did that when he was a kitten and I was pregnant!

I assumed either his age or my hormones were the reason.

AlexaAmbidextra · 08/01/2019 01:50

Mine wakes me up each morning by washing my face and styling my hair. Now if I could just get her to put the kettle on ........... 😹

Ha ha. That's a funny photo. I've just acquired a cat like that. He seems to somehow back comb it so it sticks out at funny angles and takes me ages to tease out the knots he creates.

EachandEveryone · 10/01/2019 11:24

Aw bless him are you keeping. Him?

thecatneuterer · 10/01/2019 17:32

Yes I think I will have to keep him. He's an ancient old crock with alopecia and shortly to have no teeth. Plus, although very affectionate he can sometimes lash out for no reason, so I reckon I'm stuck with him.

drspouse · 11/01/2019 19:39

My cat when I was a child did this! I assumed it was because she thought I was a wet kitten.

MitziK · 12/01/2019 18:27

You're wet and obviously need cleaning properly the cat smell replaced on your head.

Be grateful she doesn't comb your forehead with her teeth. One of mine used to do that.

HelmutFrontbut · 12/01/2019 18:42

One of my girls does this but she likes my sweaty post-gym hair. She claws my head and goes all purry and mental Confused
