So fat cat decided to go into dds bedroom this morning into her dolls house (which is on a chest of drawers) tried leaving via dolls house door it swung open leaving him dangling mid air by his stomach wailing his tail off dd caught him and supported him till I got there and we managed to help him free himself he is walking sitting standing etc but I think he hurt his leg he flinches on it from time to time I know cats can mask there is no outward trauma he is walking fine I'm undecided....

I would keep him in for the day and keep an eye. If he's struggling to eat or toilet later today then take him today. If tomorrow he's still limping then take him. He's probably a bit sore so keep an eye. Obviously only you know your cat so if you suspect somethings wrong then take him.

He is an indoor cat fortunately lord knows what trouble he would get into in the outside world
