What did your cat get for Christmas?

Inspired by another thread Grin

I didn't buy the cat anything for Christmas (sorry cat!) but he he's done quite well in the aftermath.
He turned his nose up at the Christmas lunch lamb he was offered (spoiled!) but went back and ate it when I wasn't looking Wink
I bought him his own pack of cooked chicken pieces from the reduced shelf for 10p last night, much better received Grin

And from Sainsburys' Boxing Day sale he got a tub of feline turkey mousse and a tin with 5 packs of Felix "Dreamies" Grin

He's very fussy about toys and has enough Xmas Grin

A tin of applaws tuna with cheese cat food (our cat’s favourite foods) . He scoffed the lot!

BrusselPout · 27/12/2018 21:31

Catnip fish! They've attempted to murder it but just ended up stoned 😂

My brother bought our cats a policeman outfit and a sherif outfit ... proving very difficult to get them in there 🤣

I told him he will get square eyes and he looked at me like "mama. Shhhh. Watching WABBITS"

Dcat was totally spoiled after she decided she didn't like her old scratch post she got a new one, some new food dishes and lots of treats plus as many baubles from the tree as she can escape with before we catch her

A stocking filled with Dreamies.
A pack of different textured balls.
3 pack of stuffed toys that crinkle
A Emma Bridgewater personalised cat bowl Blush

Orangelover · 29/12/2018 18:11

My ILs bought Nixon one of those mouse toys on a coiled spring, absolutely loves it. My parents bought him a packet of different coloured balls with bells in. Again loved them. Both have provided him with hours of entertainment Xmas Grin

We also bought the family cats a present consisting of an Applelaws tuna loin and an orange ball, Nixon's fave one from pets at home.

We're all mad.

We got them posh food.
My parents got them posh food.
My sister got them posh food.
My aunt got them posh food.

They have us well trained.

A cat radiator bed.

Swear he's not moved from it since Xmas day.

rosydreams · 29/12/2018 18:50

mine got a window bird feeder so they can watch the birds when they lounge on the windowsill lol

Weedsnseeds1 · 29/12/2018 19:22

Mine would have the window out rosy. I had to get rid of the bird table as it was being treated like a drive through McDonald's Shock

rosydreams · 29/12/2018 21:48

lol o no mine are indoors so this for them quite special. But i can see how it can become a fast food vending machine lol

HumbleCrumble · 30/12/2018 15:38

Pawsecco from us (unimpressed), a Felix treats gift box from the cat sitter and a cat photo booth from my sister. This is the nearest she got to playing along with it!

That is one unimpressed looking super-kitty Grin.

jomaIone · 30/12/2018 16:01

Mine got a grooming mitt which she just attacks, a pack of feather tailed mice, salmon sticks and a pets at home stocking!

WaxOnFeckOff · 30/12/2018 16:20

Here is a sweet little birdie enjoying our window feeder Hmm

It had to go in the end after I ended up rescuing a pigeon with his leg caught in it.

Leroy got a new cardboard scratcher chaise longue thingy and turkey & cranberry Lick-e-Lix, but his favourite is the cardboard box the scratcher came in 🙄.

Apparently DM has a present for him but forgot to bring it so it will be posted, and a friend has a present for him too.

Barney the Stray had some T&C Lick-e-Lix from Leroy, and 2 doors down are considering a cat flap for him. Friend who has a present for Leroy also has one for Barney.

DM's cat and SD's cats got Dreamies and T&C Lick-e-Lix from Leroy.

I'm convinced this is perfectly normal behaviour.

sweetkitty · 30/12/2018 16:29

Dreamies multipack with snowman
Pack of balls
Snowman with a bell
Dangling fishing toy

Was their first Christmas although I have 6 pets to buy for and am also dog and guinea pig sitting for a friend so 9 Pets

adaisychain · 31/12/2018 16:29

Ours got spoiled, he had a new food bowl from us, plus 3 x toys and some treats

MIL got him three more toys and a bag of treats and my DM got him a new tray for his food and treats!

We won't have to buy dreamies for a while!

He turned his nose up at turkey but feasted on pigs in blankets.

cushioncovers · 01/01/2019 08:48

Nothing this year. I bought him a cat stocking last year but he was completely uninterested in it. So I didn't bother this year.

tierraJ · 01/01/2019 10:25

Ebony's still high on her catnip!!

purple12 · 01/01/2019 17:46

Got him a new scratching post - partly for Christmas but really he needed a new one anyway. But he is enjoying it!

GMFLondon · 01/01/2019 18:13

A terminal diagnosis, alas. Only good thing is his appetite has perked up with the new meds so I'm able to give him all the forbidden things like butter and cream as it really doesn't matter any more. 2019 starting off as lousy as 2018, lost the mum cat in October and have the prospect of losing her little boy cat in the very near future.

EthelHornsby · 01/01/2019 18:29

Special turkey-flavoured cat food - they refused to eat it
