Spray to get rid of cat wee smell?

Hello, our newish little rescue cat Ivy decided she'd like to do a random wee on our bed, soaked into mattress whilst we were out...any ideas for a spray to rid us of the pong? Have sprayed and scrubbed with antibacterial spray but I'm sure I remember there being a special spray for this sort of event?

She's settling well, still rather nervous of DS though, he is trying his best not to be over enthusiastic around her (he's 8 but has dyspraxia so his movements are not always well controlled).

Appears fond of me though (chief biscuit provider), and rolls over to be loved and adored. Also likes her plush tiger effect cat basket with nice deep sides. Very cosy.

You need an enzyme spray. Try a pet shop/ pets at home, etc

Simple solution for cats, pets at home link here - i've seen smaller sizes in store.

It is very good, you'll have to pour some on rather than spray if it's soaked through your mattress though.

I second an enzyme spray. My cat peed and pood on my brand new bed a few months ago and it totally got rid of the smell. I got it in pets at home.

Make a solution of water and washing powder which will break down the urine and then spray it with a solution of surgical spirit which removes the smell so the kitten wont be a attracted to the smell and think that's where she goes to the toilet

Simple Solutions also do an Extreme spray which is apparently 3 times more power full, not seen in store anywhere but you can get on Amazon - we used it on our tent and it was definately better than the standard stuff. Extreme Spray
