Fin you have a ginger cat, what’s his personality?

We lost our big ginger boy this week, he was super loving, very cuddly, purred like a pneumatic drill, dh is adamant that that’s fairly typical of male ginger cats, I think we just got lucky with him. So, if you have a ginger boy, what’s he like?

Manfred's 17 and sleeps a lot. He adores DH and makes a beeline for him when he gets home. He's old and skinny, a bit pushy, always begging for food and loves to snooze in the sunshine.

Mine's a huge fellow. He loves company and "helps" me around the garden. He follows me round the village when I go for a walk.
You are not allowed to touch him though, perhaps two stokes if you are lucky and he never sits on a lap.

I had one, she died a couple of years ago, and while she was small and so pretty she was absolutely radge, take the hand off you soon as look at you. When I had to rehome another cat, she dedicated her time to bullying the life out of the poor chap. Life has been so much easier since she died, for both of us.

I've had a good few ginger cats and all of them have had lovely personalities, there's something really empathic about them, I don't know why. They are very loyal. I'd always have a ginger over any other colour (and I wouldn't touch a tortoise shell with a bargepole!)
