So my cat is sick again. He has stress-related dermatitis which gets infected where he won't stop picking at it. Normally comes up about once a year (since kittenhood) but since the summer we can't get on top of it despite being back and forth to vets. He has the meds, it goes away for 2-3 weeks and then starts up again.
He is currently refusing to come in the house. He has been asleep all day upstairs then when I came home from work and he woke up, he shot out the house and won't come in. I gave him a couple of prawns to tempt him which he wolfed down then ran outside again.
Vet can't give me an appt till Sat AM but can't understand why he now won't even come in the house. Any ideas?
To clarify- nothing in our lives has changed to trigger his stress as far as I can see.
