Oh gawd Iโ€™m thinking the worst. She is nearly 4 and this is the first time ever. Praying sheโ€™s safe and unharmed ๐Ÿ™

I'm so sorry x Sending you a hug x

NewName54321 · 18/09/2018 21:23

So sorry. Some good advice and organisations to contact here (obviously call your local branches if you are not in their area):

Blameanamechange · 19/09/2018 07:40

Don't give up OP. Don't know if already mentioned but there lost and found pet sites as well with photos. Worth a try looking and posting? Have you also put posters in yr local shops?

ifonly4 · 19/09/2018 10:15

Do you know if she generally covers a wide area? If more local, a street or two either way, I'd be tempted to get the family knocking on every door to ask people to doublecheck their garages/sheds.

PutYerClawsAway · 19/09/2018 10:23

So Sorry Pilates. There is still hope. I also recommend going out and calling as well as posters etc. I don't know what your residential set up is but I walked round the back of houses via the service road which ran down every 4th house in my street to get right to the sheds and garages. I even resorted to knocking on doors to get to sheds which I couldn't access form the public road or path so I could call him.

Every cat I've had has managed to go missing but they came home, although as I've just posted on another thread, our current boy cat was stuck in a shed for 18 days and was skeletal when we got him back - he must have had access to water though. He was very weak and we think he might have been about to give up but the calling let him know we were there so maybe it spurred him on to scrabble out.
If it was the worst possible news, I would hope you would have heard by now or someone would have seen something. Odd as it sounds, the fact you've not heard could still be cause for hope.
Good luck.

Skyejuly · 19/09/2018 10:28

Im sorry to hear this. It really is one of the worse things about being a cat owner. One of my cats used to climb up into car bonnets via the wheel arch? She got taken to dover once!

BlackHillsofDakota · 19/09/2018 10:30

Keep an eye on Facebook. Our cat went missing for two weeks and then there was a post of Facebook asking if anyone recognised him as he'd been hanging around and they had been feeding him.
I had given up hope and really believed we would never find him but we did. Keep looking xx

Botanicbaby · 19/09/2018 21:47

Thereโ€™s always hope. I hope youโ€™re reunited soon.

recklessruby · 21/09/2018 00:51

Any news OP? Thinking of you today

pilates · 21/09/2018 07:18

Not even a sighting of her. Itโ€™s like she has disappeared into thin air. I donโ€™t think I can get another cat, I canโ€™t risk the pain again. The not knowing is the worst bit. ๐Ÿ˜”

:( try the cars?

recklessruby · 21/09/2018 09:55

I agree not knowing is the absolute worst.
I am praying you get good news soon. You say she's chipped so much more chance of her turning up lost and being put up on lost and found sites.

PutYerClawsAway · 21/09/2018 14:11

Checking in. Keeping fingers crossed Pliates. It is sh*te waiting like this.

pilates · 21/09/2018 17:23

Someone phoned today with a possible sighting not far from me. I went straight away but nothing.

OP posts:
Dodie66 · 21/09/2018 18:05

Well that might be good news. Just because you didnโ€™t find her doesnโ€™t mean she wasnโ€™t around. Maybe go back at a different time of day like evening or something, fingers crossed

Blameanamechange · 21/09/2018 22:07

But at least that means people are looking out for her. Its hopeful though. Dont forget you can sometimes see a cat in yr garden and the next minute theyve disappeared- theyre very quick! Yr cats no idea of the worry its causing you. Just oblivious. You may just turn up soon. Fingers crossed OP. I keep checking on here to see if any news.

recklessruby · 22/09/2018 08:14

I keep checking too. Just want to hear shes been found safe xx

pilates · 22/09/2018 09:50

Another false alarm this morning. An old lady got confused with lost and found. Really got my hopes up though. Never mind at least people are trying I suppose.

OP posts:
timtam23 · 22/09/2018 23:04

So sorry you are still waiting - but yes at least you know people are still looking out for her. Try to stay positive if you can as it's still very possible she could come home safe & sound. Fingers crossed for you

pilates · 23/09/2018 16:29

Bad day today, feeling really low ๐Ÿ˜ข

OP posts:
Skyejuly · 23/09/2018 16:49

:( xx

Blameanamechange · 23/09/2018 18:29

It could be a few weeks and she still might turn up yet. Sadly thats one if the problems with cats- theyre free spirits! But its also one of the reasons we love them! Sit tight and keep busy. Theres still hope x

recklessruby · 23/09/2018 19:09
