We can't decide on names and my daughter loves the kitten naming threads so can you help us too? We will be getting 2 girls, one grey one white. Will try to post pictures too

Ooh, yes! If you post a pic or two you'll get lots of ideas.

seagulldown · 26/08/2018 23:33

Oh I did post some pics, or thought i did. Hang on, let me try again!

Oh no. I've tried twice now to post and it's not working. How disappointing. Its always fun to hear people's name ideas but I do realise that the rule is that you need a pic!

Are you new to MN? I think there's something that stops you uploading pics for the first couple of days (to stop spammers).

DC2018 · 26/08/2018 23:54

How old are your DC? They may appreciate Disney inspired names like;
Elsa
Anna
Jasmine
Belle
Cinderella
Briar Rose
Aurora
Merida
Mulan
Pocahontas
Meg
Maria
Duchess

DC are 7 and 5. They love a bit of Disney, and always enjoyed the 'princess' stuff. Although they are trying out some of the 'older' stuff like Descendents so that could def be worth exploring. Thank you

Gorgeous. You will need to put sunblock on the white one’s ear tips in summer as they are prone to skin cancer on the tips of their ears. Also, what colour are her eyes? If she has blue and they stay blue, there is a good chance she is deaf - won’t be an issue except that she will need to be an indoor cat. This deafness only happens in pure white cats with blue eyes though,, looking at the pic she might have a few dark smudges which means she’ll be OK.

For names, I’d go Eddie and Patsy 😁

Singlenotsingle · 27/08/2018 09:11

Cinders and Coco

seagulldown · 27/08/2018 15:30

Thanks for all name ideas. So hard to choose. We will wait until we have them here before deciding I think.

To happyland, thanks for the white cats tips! I had heard about the sun cream as an old neighbours white cat had to have her ears removed due to skin cancer 😪.

Her eyes are currently blue but they may yet change. She does have 2 grey smudges on her head so hopefully her hearing will be fine. But if not then an indoor kitty she will be!
