List of kitten names, which one to choose?

We're rehoming two 17 week old kittens in 10 days. We're pretty sure we're calling one Boris, small chance it could be Banjo. We're struggling to come up with someone we call agree on for his brother. Lots of names on the table, Basil, Gizmo, Oscar, Magic, Luna, Milo, Pasha, Ollie, Ozzie, Gizzy, Otto and Monty. Which suits him most?

He's the small of the two and quieter. His eyes are an unusual dark green.

Green eyes = Basil, for sure.

I think Monty suits him best. Would also go Ollie or Ozzie. He's a little cutie!

SquigglePigs, thanks for saying he's a cutie. Black and white cats aren't so popular with some people, so it's nice to know someone else can see the attraction.

Basil, Pasha and Otto are my picks

He looks like a Basil to me with those eyes. They are beauties!

Basil and Banjo would be my first choice, unless you go with Otto and Monty instead. Those are my favourite pairings.

As long as you avoid Felix cliché I don't think you can really go wrong with such a magnificent chap...

I'd say Gizmo. He's a beauty. I've had 2 black & white cats and several plain black, in the past. My little b&w Stella was 18 when she was PTS sleep in April.

Gizmo was suggested as he does have big ears. Someone in the family else in the family liked it but then Gizzy got mentioned!

Lynne1Cat, so sorry to hear about Stella. Is that her in the photo? I lost my b&w boy last year and his sister in May. Her death is still raw, but looking forward to two new furbabies.

OP I like Monty too. Posting more to say black and white cats are my favourites too though! Have always had B&W/black cats 😻

I like Basil. It has to be a name that's easy to call and emphasize at 11pm when you're trying to get him in, ie Baa sill!

Lynne your lovely Stella is my old cat Wilma’s twin. I have to try and hunt down a photo, it’s uncanny! She was also pts when she was 18. Beautiful little thing.

How about Ottie rather than Otto. I think Boris and Ottie sounds lovely.

He looks so sweet and innocent, but he's going to be a bundle of naughtiness! Looking at his face, I think Basil or Pasha.

Here's my Basil (black) and my old boy (RIP) Monty. Both truly excellent cat names . I like your choice of Oscar as well.

Thanks for the photos of your two Basils and lovely Monty. I think we're down to Basil, Monty and Gizmo, but DD doesn't like any of those - the only choice I like of hers is Pasha and DH doesn't. Poor little cat, he'll never know how much bother he's caused before he's even through the door.

Have to wait another week for them, but dropping something off for them tomorrow so hopefully will get a quick peak - that may help with the final decision.
