Looks like mine have managed to escape for the night

I may have been out tonight for the first time since my op. I only had two chocolate martinis and a glass of red. And I was home by 10pm. I managed to get them both into the flat. It is hard in this weather but I shut all the doors and they were in. It’s niw 0130 I can’t sleep because they are nowhere to be found. My flatmates door is open a crack. She sleeps with all her windows opened. They’ve buggared off for the night haven’t they? The first time. They won’t have the common sense to come back in through the window will they? What if they want a wee? I need to sleep.....

Are they ok?

I got up for the loo and one was waiting to be key on at 4am. The other one at 7. They can only get so far into the building not the actual flat. I don’t want them to think this is a regular thing. They usually sleep 8 hours in the night.

Did they escape via flatmate's window?

You'll have to insist she shuts her door at night, windows are fine but if they wriggle out that the way her door has to be closed. Glad all safe and chocolate martinis consumed, hope recovery going well x

I let Daph in at 4am and my neighbour told me she'd let her in at 8am! So shes been jumping out the window are running around to the door to be let in. Funnily, theyve barely moved today and are still fast asleep on my bed!
